Draft auto-save keeps your in-progress memo on the device automatically. There is no save button — it saves as you type, and after an app quit or crash you resume right where you stopped. Drafts are stored only on your iPhone, encrypted with AES-GCM, and discarded the instant you send.

文字を入力すると、短い間隔をおいて自動的に下書きが保存されます。日本語入力（IME）の変換の区切りも考慮した間隔なので、保存のために手を止める必要はありません。 - アプリを閉じる直前にも確定保存
ホームに戻る・アプリを切り替えるなど、アプリが背面に回るタイミングでも最後にもう一度確実に保存します。これにより、OSによる強制終了の直前の内容まで残ります。 - 起動時に「空のときだけ」復元
次にアプリを開いたとき、入力欄が空であれば下書きを自動で復元します。すでに何か書き始めている場合は上書きしません。そして送信した瞬間に下書きは破棄され、次は白紙から始められます。
- Auto-saves as you type
As you type, your draft is saved automatically after a brief pause. The interval accounts for IME composition (e.g., Japanese input), so you never have to stop to save. - A final save right before the app closes
When the app moves to the background — going home, switching apps — it saves once more, reliably. So even the content just before an OS termination is kept. - Restores on launch, only when empty
The next time you open the app, your draft is restored automatically if the input is empty. If you've already started typing, it won't overwrite you. And the moment you send, the draft is discarded, so you start fresh next time.

Drafts live only on your iPhone — never sent to the cloud or our servers. They're encrypted with AES-GCM, the key is held in Apple Keychain, and file protection means the data is readable only after the device is first unlocked. This follows the same privacy-first design as the offline Outbox queue and send history.

Where is the save button for drafts?
There isn't one — saving is automatic. Your draft is saved as you type, so there's nothing to tap. Close the app and your in-progress text is still there next time.
If the app crashes, do I lose my unfinished memo?
No. Your text is saved on-device as you type, plus once more right before the app closes. Even after a crash or OS termination, you can resume on the next launch.
Where are drafts stored? Are they sent to the cloud?
Drafts are stored only on your iPhone, encrypted with AES-GCM. They are never sent to the cloud or our servers. The encryption key is managed in Apple Keychain.
When does it restore, and could it overwrite what I typed?
Restore happens on app launch, and only when the input field is empty — so if you've already started writing, it won't overwrite you.
Does the draft stay after I send?
No. Sending a memo discards the draft immediately, so you start from a blank screen next time.
Does auto-save slow the app down?
No. Saving runs on a dedicated background path and never affects launch, typing, or send speed. The 0.3-second launch and 150ms send stay intact.
